Kunisada Utagawa Giclee Woodblock Print c1821 Eight Views of Women 7"x10"

This is a 7" x 10" reproduction print of a Japanese Edo era  ukiyo-e (woodblock print) from the Eight Views of Women (Shujo Hakkei) series c. 1818-21.

Titled Autumn Moon Over Lake Dotei (by the great Japanese artist Kunisada, aka Toyokuni III  (1786 to 1864),  高橋松亭 . Originally published by Nishimura Yohachi. Printed with the Kiwame censor's seal. 

This is a giclée print. It is from a very high resolution scan taken of the original Kunisada print in our collection n with a state of the art flat bed scanner. It is printed on acid free archival fine-art paper with highly fade resistant pigments inks. This is essentially actual size at the standard oban measurements of 7" wide by 10" tall (18 x 25.5 cm). The print is in new condition.
