Kunisada Utagawa Giclee Woodblock Print c1821 Eight Views of Women 9"x15"

This is a 9" x 15" reproduction print of a Japanese Edo era ukiyo-e (woodblock print) from the Eight Views of Women (Shujo Hakkei) series c. 1818-21.

Titled Autumn Moon Over Lake Dotei (by the great Japanese artist Kunisada, aka Toyokuni III  (1786 to 1864),  高橋松亭. Originally published by Nishimura Yohachi. Printed with the Kiwame censor's seal. 

This is a giclée print. It is from a very high resolution scan taken of the original Kunisada print in our collection n with a state of the art flat bed scanner. It is printed on acid free archival fine-art paper with highly fade resistant pigments inks. This is essentially actual size at the standard oban measurements of 9" wide by 15" tall (23 x 38 cm). The print is in new condition.
