Shunga Japanese Erotic Art Giclee Print Hand Painting On Silk 10.5"X7.75" #22

This is a reproduction Shunga print of a Japanese Taisho era c.1920 hand painting on silk. Shunga or "Spring Art" such as this was outlawed throughout Japan for centuries but persisted even by the very most famous artists, though typically created anonymously, given the high demand. It is the same size as the original measuring about 10" x 7.75".

This is a giclée print. It is from a very high resolution scan of the original print in our collection taken on a state of the art flat bed scanner. It is printed on acid free archival fine-art paper with highly fade resistant pigments inks. In the very close detail the texture of the original silk can even be seen in the scan.

This measures 10 3/8" tall by 7 3/4" wide (26.3 x 19.6 cm). The print is in new condition. Custom sizes can be produced upon request.
