This is a professional grade signed sashimi/sushi chef's yanagiba knife from the mid to late 20th century.  After forging and shaping it was set into a Magnolia wood handle.

Yanagaba-bocho or willow blade knife are long and very thin shingle-sided knives used in the Japanese kitchen to prepare sashimi, sushi sliced raw fish and seafood.
