Vintage Japanese Dolls Daruma Hime Ningyo Pair Empress Jingu Handpainted 5"~

This is a pair of vintage Japanese handmade dolls known as Daruma Hime Ningyo. Made of wood and brocade fabrics these dolls are traditionally give as wedding gifts, birthday gifts and otherwise given to impart luck, good fortune and good health. This is a handcraft made in Matsuyama, Japan.

Having been in storage or carefully displayed they remain in overall fine vintage condition.
