This is a vintage Japanese hand painted Kutani teacup with matching saucer.The beautiful abstract design is intersected with gold leaf and plum blossoms.The bottom of the cup and the saucer are both signed.This set was high fired for lasting durability.Please view the closeup photos to admire the fine workmanship and intricately hand painted design details.

This teacup and saucer was well used, yet well loved. With exception to signs of past use, this set remains infine condition. The teacup measures 4" on the handle side by 3 1/4" deep by 3" tall (10 x 8.5 x 8 cm). The saucer measures 6" in diameter at its widest point by 1/2" tall (15 x 1 cm).
