Vintage Japanese Kadai Makassar Ebony Ikebana & Bonsai Stand 19"x12"

This is a vintage Japanese ikebana flower/bonsai stand called a Kadai 花台. It is made of rare Macassar ebony which is a very dense and heavy wood with beautiful grain pattern. Having been in storage for decades this kadai remains in very good condition with just minor blemishes.
