Vintage Japanese Kokeshi Doll Wooden Signed by Artist 12" Hand Painted

This is a vintage Japanese wooden doll called a kokeshi. one of a kind hand turned and hand painted by artists following a centuries old tradition. Signed and dated Showa 37 (Oct 7, 1963).

This Kokeshi is the most traditional style of a straight body and a round head. She will ad an air of pleasant calm to your day.

Having been in storage for several decades, it remains in overall fine vintage condition. There are some minor scuffs. This doll measures about 4" at her widest point and is 12” tall.
