Vintage Japanese Kokeshi Natural Wood Doll W/ Obi Bow And Hair Tie 3"

This is a vintage Japanese wooden doll known called a kokeshi. This kokeshican smoothly turn her head and is carved in all natural white wood. She has a mop of natural wood hair tied with a bow. She is exquisitely hand painted with a white face, dark eyes and red lips whith a bit of rouge in her cheeks. A simple but exceptional example of kokeshi painting.

Having been in storage for several decades, it remains in overall fine vintage condition. There are some minor dents. She measures about 4.5" ( 11 cm) tall and1 1/2" at the widest (4cm).
