Vintage Japanese Late Showa Era Pottery Sake Cup Signed 2.25"

This is a vintage Japanese late Showa Era (c. 1960's) sakazuki (sake cup). It has a beautiful red-brown glaze over white. Done in the shape of a chawan tea bowl. Signed by the potter.

Its size makes it the perfect sake cups for sipping your evening sake or a very elegant way to sip your evening cordial! Having been in storage for nearly a century, these sake cups remain in very fine condition. This cup measures 2 1/4" in diameter by 1 1/8" tall (5.5 x 3 cm).
