Vintage Japanese Set Of Three 1Sen Bronze Coins 1932 1933 1934 Imperial Crest
A guaranteed authentic and rare set of three Japanese 1 sen bronze coin minted in Tokyo in 1932, 1933 and 1934. In Japan these are the 7th, 8th and 9th years of the Showa era (during the reign of Emperor Hirohito. Having the characters, "Dai Nippon" (great Japan) with a clear crest of the paulownia mon (a famous family crest) in the center. On the obverse chrysanthemum blossoms and "one sen". Chrysanthemum blossoms symbolize Japan's imperial family and are often used on currency. Overall, these coin are in good condition with minimal wear, a very clear strike and having with a nice patina. Measures 7/8" in diameter (2.1 cm). Approximately the size of a US quarter.
