Vintage Japanese Shogiban Shogi Chess Board Mid 20th Century

This is a mid 20th century Japanese Shogi board  used to play Japanese Chess. The size, and elevated playing surface allows the board to make a satisfying click when pieces are placed on to it. With only a tiny surface chip and some wear from use it remains in overall good condition.
