Vintage Japanese Showa Era (C.1940) Wooden Kokeshi Doll Blue Ikat Kimono 4 1/2"

This is a vintage Japanese mid-Showa Era (c. 1940's) wooden doll known called a kokeshi. The kokeshi is made out of wood. This kokeshi is a girl in a pink ribbon and a chrysanthemum print kimono.

Having been in storage, he remains in overall good condition. This kokeshi measures 4 1/2" tall by 1" in wide (11.5 x 2.5 cm). The stand and the second matching kokeshi shown in the next to last picture are NOT INCLUDED in this listing but may be found in our other listings.
