Vintage Japanese Showa Era (C.1940) Wooden Kokeshi Dollsamurai 5"

This is a vintage Japanese mid-Showa Era (c. 1940's) wooden doll known as a kokeshi. The kokeshi is made out of wood. This kokeshi is a young samurai warrior with sword by his side and a warrior hair style.

Having been in storage for most of his life, he remains in overall very good condition. This kokeshi measures 5" tall by 1 1/4" wide (12.5 x 3.2 cm).
