Vintage Japanese Showa Era (C.1950) Wooden Kokeshi Doll With Extra 2 Dolls

This is a vintage Japanese mid-Showa Era (c. 1950's) wooden doll known as a kokeshi. The kokeshi is made out of hand turned wood. This kokeshi is a young girl in kimono. She has a hair pin with two miniature wooden kokeshi dolls hanging from it. (see pictures 5 & 6).

Having been carefully displayed for most of her life, she remains in overall very good condition. This kokeshi measures 5" tall by 2 1/4" wide (12.5 x 6 cm).
