Vintage Japanese Showa Era c.1950's Kutani Ceramic Sakazuki Sake Cup

This is a unique vintage Japanese Showa Era (c. 1950's) Kutani sakazuki (sake cup). It has a beautiful hand painted traditional pattern of flowers and monks in the bright Kutani colors.

Its size makes it the perfect sake cup for sipping your evening sake or a very elegant way to sip your evening cordial! Having been in storage for nearly a century, this sake cup remains in very fine condition. This sakazuki sake cup measures 2 1/8" in diameter by 1 1/2" tall (5.5 x 4 cm).
