Vintage Japanese Signed Kiri Wood Small Box W/ Artists Stamp 4X4X5"

This is a Japanese specialty box once used to store ceramic goods. It has Japanese calligraphy on the front as well as a stamp belonging to the artist. It is of all Kiri wood (Paulownia) in the tradition of old Japanese craftsmanship. This box has a lid that fits snugly to safely hold small items.

This box remains in good condition. It measures 4" wide by 4" deep by 5" tall ( 10 x 10 x 12.5 cm).The beautiful wood grain in this Paulowina makes for an eye catching little piece to brighten up your space.
