Antique Japanese Taisho Era c1920's Chadansu Tea Tansu Sugi Wood 38"

This is a beautiful natural finish display Tansu in solid Hinoki (cypress) and Sugi (cedar) wood. It has three drawers, two cabinets revealed by paired sliding doors. The tight straight grained wood is the highest quality Hinoki. 

traditionally used for displaying Japanese Tea Ceremony accessories.
