Vintage Japanese Wooden Shogi Koma Chess Pieces w/ Original Box

This is a vintage Japanese complete boxed set of 40 wooden "black carved" shogi pieces. This style of pieces is refered to as Kurokigoishiten a simpler style of writing the names on the each piece in Japanese. They come in a kiri wood. The box and pieces remains in overall good condition. This pieces are standard in size and very from pawns at 1" to kings at 1 1/8". The box measures measures3 3/4" wide by 3 3/4" long by 2 deep" ( 9.5 x 9.5x 5 cm). This set is featured in the photos with a shogi board does not include the board. Shogi board sold separately.
